To be fair to them tonight, whenever Westbrook was out of the game they couldn't generate any offense whatsoever.

They did the same thing against the Magic though, this is a trend for them, they need to change it soon.
Again to be fair to them - Ibaka was 4-12, Roberson kept passing up open shots (0-1), Waiters 1-6, Morrow 1-3 and Singler 1-3. Pretty much all their perimeter players shot like shyt. If it wasn't for Westbrook and Durant taking it upon themselves to score, they would've had no chance at winning that game because the Magic wouldn't miss in the first three quarters.

I do agree though, something does need to change. There was a lot of ball movement in the preseason, when the role players were hitting their shots - fast forward to the regular season and they've been inconsistent and Durant/Westbrook have basically been picking up extra slack. I think their defense is more of a worry than their offense at this point.

It's the literal dynamic of KD and Westbrook on the floor at at the same time :russ:

These guys will not defer to anyone. It's not in their genome. When it's Kevin Durant just jacking by himself it's fine because he's efficient. But when it's Russell Westbrook's broke j, over-emotional, reckless a** it becomes a problem :mjlol:

The Chef will cook these fools :mjlol:

Westbrook needs to start being more passive or he needs to come off the bench and then he can be the offense for the second unit...no reason for him to be racking up assist with the KD PNR combo.

This has been the case from my observation. I always catch myself screaming at this nikka durant to be more aggressive. He looks like he's conceded the team.
I definitely think there's some truth to that. I know I've seen Durant just cruise through games out there, even saw him giving up the ball to Waiters late in-games (that should NEVER happen). It's early in the season and they're still working in a new system. Far too early to microwave conclusions, hopefully for the Thunder's sake Donovan can find a winning formula.
