As a kid I wanted to be Penny Hardaway on the bball court...Deion N Michael Irvin while playing football...I don't understand the my favorite athlete gotta look like me or I gotta look like an athlete for me to care bout a sport

thats exactly why i immediately dismiss opinions in here whenever i hear race used as a focal point of a boxing argument...sometimes ive had to hand out a little verbal sonning here and there if pushed

1.true, all the fighters i like are skilled prospects with potential.

of course if a boxer turns out to be a piece of shyt, i can see why some people not might like him anymore.

2.ummm i can't explain the nationality............try to look at it as soccer or going for america in olympics or rooting for ur hometown buddy u grew up with.

but that still shouldn't be the only reason u like them.

Baseball - Ken Griffey Jr.

I never considered how a player looked or where they were from as to why I fukked with them. I don't blame the ones that do. I remember growing up, every Dominican idolized Sammy Sosa's bytchass

If you wanna favor players that look like you or come from where you come, cool. That shyt doesn't matter to me

mark brothers were great lil speedy guys...underrated. but still not rice level.

he definitely had no consistent rb or defense though .
