Unless the battle is in NY...ummm the Southern sound is crushing EVERYTHING else!!!! The South is the current sound of hip hop.

When JD play all those RADIO FRIENDLY joints he have...that women loved...Puff has less of those. If it's anwhere outside the tri-state area...when Dupree put on those booty dance songs....it's over.

Puff will lose...for the same reason NY hip hop has lost and been losing the war against southern rap tunes for like the past 20 years. You can't compete with the simple, catchy, melodies and hooks/choruses the South have.

Easy to say that when you compare an entire region with multiple sounds to one city





in reality the most influential and top selling rappers didn’t have to sound southern to be where they are.

50 has one album that was big in the south. That one album was HUUUUGE...but it's still only one album.

These verzuz aren't about sales, they're about songs that hit a certain way. If the battle anywhere in the South TI can put on "Do it baby" and people going lose their mind. They forgot about this song.



I prefer east coast boom bap personally but...NO REGIONS SOUND IS DEFEATING DIRTY SOUTH!!!

Bruh...it's not that serious to me...I'm being unbiased.

ATL is the South. The South stands as one. Yeah ATL is the capitol...but the sound is a combination of the whole South. There's Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina, people from all these places are in ATL building.
