Most comedians stink up their sets before they find their comedic footing. The way black people are belittling his attempt to pivot into standup is sad but predictable.

:francis:

fukk that, you grab that mic you supposed to go to war. You want to skip the line and jump to thirty minutes sets off rip without paying dues, it's on you, you better hold it down

I believe he will do great in time, what comic you know started off without bombing? He’s hella brave for doing this after establishing extremely successful career. All this press could be turned into great material if he’s smart. He’s not afraid to get boo’d either apparently. :yeshrug:

I say boo him for telling corny ass jokes but not because it’s trendy. Encourage him to continue and get better

Isn’t that how it’s always been? Only difference is now everyone records it. I’m pretty sure every comedian has bombed a few sets. If he’s really committed then he’ll be alright.
The main difference is TI already had a name before he got into comedy. What’s happening to him essentially happens to all comedians (on a lower scale) but nobody knew who they were at the time so they don’t give a fukk about their failures.

Let the man get out and get his feet wet.

Why is every one of his shows being posted to make fun of?

You don’t know if you’re good or bad at something until you try.

At least he’s lived his life going for his full stop.

Can any of you say the same?

If not, keep your judgment to yourself and use that energy to pursue your own dreams.

He's bad. I did stand up for two years. People have no idea how hard it is to make strangers laugh. That shyt looks easy until you up on the stage with them lights in your face. You don't play comedian like you don't play boxer

If he started from the bottom and built his set up that would be one thing. He's trying to strong arm his way into top venues with comedians who have been doing it for years and stinking up the place.

If I paid my good money to go to a venue, paid for drinks etc I would be booing him off the rip being brave and fearless don't make me laugh fukk out of here

Damn humanity ain’t shyt :scust:

Does the world really need play by play on a new comedian with a lame set? Are people that hard up they need to seek out someone to ridicule to deal better about their own lives?

I guess if that keeps you off the train with the AK and smoke grenades… :hhh:

Every comedian has gone through the ringer before crafting their style and jokes. If T.i really wants to be a comedian, he's going to have to thru this shyt for a long while and that's IF he develops a talent for it. Some people just got it, some ppl don't

Also t.i is famous already so it's going to be 10x harder for him

It is not, he's already doing 30 minute sets. If he was funny and there was something there to work with the audience would see it

For comparison I had to come to my first open mic 5 weeks in a row before I got two minutes on stage. And each time I always had to audition, I made the people laugh, they promised me a spot every night then put someone else in my spot for four straight weeks. Im not mad he's using his fame to skip the line cuz I would but he still needs to be funny

"i haven't laughed yet -_-"

bish, cuz you are a drag. how you out and about, assuming with at least one friend, with access to good drinks and food and a celebrity (in that order lol) and you can't even crack a smile.
enjoy yourself bish :gucci:

i be at comedy shows just laughing at people's mannerisms or if they curse too loud...simple shyt cuz i'm in my own bag:pachaha: it shouldn't take a knee slapper to lol when you are having a good time :yeshrug:
Haha this reminds me of a time I went out with this one woman…probably the most beautiful woman I ever went out with tbh. Took her to a comedy show and realistically, it was mediocre af…but rather than trying to enjoy the few good jokes there were, she just got all surly and sullen and brought the energy down further. Needless to say there wasn’t a second date.
