I'm not going to act unbiased having 50 in my sig.

Come on man he made rap cool again when GRODT dropped. He had/has all you can desire from a rapper. Hook, flows, beats, rep, bad ass clique, etc. From the streets to the booth he had everything on lock.

No other rappers /Pac & Big was so dominant. Pause.

Not saying TIP isn't a good artist though:whoa:

50 Cent by a million miles. 50 shifted the culture, introduced a sound, had hits galore, is still known internationally with the only rapper known more than him being 2pac. and the quality of his music was/is better.

50s street cred also>>>> T.LIe.

50’s best shyt is better than TI’s best shyt. TI has better longetivity though. thats called sitting on the fence, so i’ll say 50. 50’s prime is the most amazing rise and dominance of a moment in rap i have ever witnessed. dude was literally tony montana of rap.

50 got it, but TI is a very solid artist and in many respects made better moves music business wise, which resulted in him being more relevant today

50 Cent had a higher peak. He was selling millions of records and pretty much everything he dropped was a hit. This was '03-'05. By 2007, he started struggling and losing that sales war with Kanye was a catalyst in his downfall. By 2008, it was flopped single after flopped single and he's competing with Rick Ross. We're not talking Rick Ross in 2010, we're talking about a Rick Ross who at that point wasn't dominant and was barely going Gold. Since, 50's struggled to get a release date.

T.I. continued to get bigger and bigger from '03-'06. He actually did re-introduce a sound to the mainstream. Trap music existed sonically and content wise before T.I., but it didn't have a name or real definition. It was just a reference before T.I. T.I. wasn't moving the type of units that 50 Cent was at his peak, but he was dropping hits. Just when people thought T.I. hit his commercial ceiling with King in '06, he extended his run and peaked in '08 with Paper Trail. That was his biggest album and it had his biggest hits. T.I. was still going Gold in 2012 and had hits as late as last year. The same can't be said for 50.

:usure:Paperwork and Animal Ambition did the exact same numbers.

And his lead single was with his super queen CAC.

T.I.

his music sticks to the ribs a lil more than 50's imo and he had a solid 5 album run where I was legit checking for his shyt. After Massacre, Ive been real real :francis: with 50.
