Magic Stick ain’t even his damn song my guy just stop

In Da Club is bigger than any T.I. song it’s arguably the biggest single of the 2000’s. It’s near 1B views on YouTube. It’s bigger than any T.I. song. This is a battle of hits and nostalgia.

The Coli where nikkas are actively listening to T.I. songs in 2020 :dead:
Plus if we wanna talk about not aging well Paper trail was TIs biggest album and it aged like trash. And after that he went to jail and never put out anything that was on that level commercially

TI vs TIP wasn’t a record that was received well at the time either.

people went up for Luda vs Nelly who were the poster children for shyt not aging well

Have you seen these battles? It isn't about what song was more popular, it's about which ones sound best to this day and people feel more.
Yes and people feel 50’s songs a lot more today. :heh:

Which is why 50’s songs still accumulate a lot more monthly streams and YT views than T.I. and are a lot more sampled by current artist.

I've been thinking about this all day, and trying to figure out how each scenario plays out. I can't see TI losing this. That might just be the southerner in me, but in his heyday, I've been to the club and they damn near spammed TI for like an hour or 2. I'm talking shyt like "Bezel" "Just Doing My Job", "Do Ya Thing","Hurt", "Ready Set Go", "Heavy Chevy's", "Dope Boyz" I mean low to mid tier TIP shyt is generally banging.

50 could literally pick like 15-20 songs just off Get Rich and The Masscare alone, think about that...like 15-20 bangers.

If we get into all the features and mixtapes and the hard shyt from the other albums and the G-Unit album, it's really out of hand. He got like 3 legendary bangers just with Game alone.

LOL, YouTube views and streams are completely irrelevant in these. For starters, there's several factors that have absolutely nothing to do with how big a song is.

For example, Nas and Damian Marley's "Patience" have a 100 million views. This song never charted, but it has more views than songs that went #1. Crazy song and one of the best videos ever, but the views have no correlation to how big the song is/was.

Bad example. Yeah, a song with a reggae star has a lot of views especially internationally.

Damian Marley does numbers.

Don’t move the goalposts. 50 catalog is more streamed, more viewed, more sampled today he has bigger and better records.

T.I. doesn’t have a single song where I can say “yeah if he plays this 50 automatically lost that round”. I know if 50 plays Many Men or In Da Club there’s not a god damn thing T.I. can do.
