sis, you should know by now that she said no such thing about "troubles of being a single mother". her response to parenting challenge was some random shyt about letting the kids be individuals and not treating them the same, which has nothing to do with being a single parent, that could be a challenge for a married couple just the same. other than that she says her and the kids and corey are "doing great, and thriving" and she and corey talk and tell each other they love each other everyday.

Whether the father is on their lives or not. I dont remember divorced women reffering to themselves as that though. Saying you were divorced was a bit more respectable

I’m a woman, I know what I’m talking about. No one with an old school background was taught that being a “single mom” was a title to proudly wear. They are trying to redefine that shyt because more white women are popping out kids OOW now. It was more respectable to marry a broke man and struggle than pop out a baby as side chick or girlfriend.

They are trying to redefine this mess and remove the stigma.
The stigma was so bad women would lie and claim to be divorced or wear a wedding ring and say their husband traveled for work as an excuse for a man not being around.

A single mom is literally a mom who had kids out of wedlock and has no help.
