Yes, there is. Something does not have to actually be exclusive to be so to a targeted audience. Most people are going to go for convenience. That is why HBO, Netflix, Hulu, etc. are profitable. Most people are not about to waste their time searching for links. People were literally in Twitter bytching that they could not get the new Rihanna song because Tidal is not available yet in South America

I think Tidal isnt going to work, nobody pays 240$ a year for music. And at the end of the day if your subscription ends you still have nothing. The few people who are spending like 240$ a year on music, will buy physical records, not for a streaming service.

but it'd only cost $120 a year for normal people...$240 is the audiophile price, and they'd definitely pay that much...
oh i didn't know that, my excuse, 120$ is still a lot, but then it can compete very well with Spotify, especially with the Roc exclusives
