The truth? Because it's newer, and relatively independent of the other doings of the industry. It's the outsider and that has very little to do with who owns it.
That's not true at all. It's because it has an entertainer at head of it and people like taking pot shots. People have critiqued Apple, Spotify, etc., but it gets no traction. Spotify is currently being sued right now, but no one cares. Be real. There are a whole lot of people tired of seeing these people win and who revel in them losing. That's part of the problem, a bunch of people with no business or legal knowledge adding their two cents and then you get called a stan when you check them.
For example, when I pointed out the legal uncertainty of that stupid Birdman case against Tidal, everyone was like
It got tossed out last week and not a word. Call it what it is. The older I get, the more I realize that the internet is a weird place where people flock to pockets where people are like them. It's like society in that you have "cool" places i.e. Twitter or Instagram where people don't do research and get their information from the media but in the online world, anonymous internet posters with biases and a lack of expertise find avenues to do the same (messageboards). No one wants to be challenged because that fukks up their make believe internet world where their opinions and self-esteem are affirmed. I mean, nikkas literally have google at their fingertips and consistently say dumb shyt.
