Prince was an idiot with his music, his family is smart to monetize his work and actually let people hear it
Prince was never a luddite... stop this blasphemy you bloody troglodyte

Again he could have signed a deal with all of the streamers making them pay an upfront for the right to host his for say 10 years or 5 or whatever on top of stream money, but the man was crazily anti streaming and anti consumer. He wasn't he believe that his music was his property. He didn't want it to used for profit that he couldn't specifically profit on. He chose Tidal because they give back to the artist at a higher percentage then the likes of Spotify and Apple who are basically jerking the shyt out of artist while they make millions monthly on subscription cost.
Maybe a neo-luddite

. You realize there are people who got rich off of others artist talent and who are still caking today while the artist are living check to check barely making it? Prince realized this a long time ago which is why he changed his name and pretty much went to war the industry .......and essentially won.He can tour all he wants, never going to eclipse the influence of radio, cd, streaming, and etc. So no he wasn't giving the consumer all they want.No he was anti music labels not consumer.......he toured like crazy giving the consumer all they wanted. But when it came to who profited of his talent, he was very much a selfish man.......as he should have been.. He was against other people getting rich off others talents while the artist get scraps.....that's why he was anti streaming.......

If I argued that Prince should have sold his rights to apple, you people might have a point, but I've explicitly said he could have licensed his shyt to them for a large up front fee on top of streaming and still got his music played by all of those people out there who wanted to listen to them.
He went to war with the industry and got his rights back but lost signficant time in his career as well.
He sold his name and his brand, to WB, he fukked himself. My dude stop talking, your talking opinion, I'm stating facts. It wasn't about the people, it was about the companies making money off his brand and not giving him anything back. That's it. He did the same with youtube. And why would he sell his rights to Apple? The Jew backed company? When have Jews every backed the black man in business? Look up the Prince notorious rift with record label Warner brother. You can clearly see the dudes politics.
Record breaker: a brief history of Prince's contractual controversies
He sold his name and his brand, to WB, he fukked himself.
That is a different issue than his litigation with streaming and etc.
I didn't say he should sell his rights exclusively to anyone. I specifically said he could get a upfront to fee to license his music to apple, spotify, tidal, whoever and then collect on streaming as well. Not that he should sell his rights at all.
I know about Prince's issue with WB. That said might need to get out of your feelings and start reading what is actually written
Prince aint coming out the ground to kiss you for acting like a ho, and trying to superman his stupid want to litigate against his fans and scrub his music off the web. shyt isn't hard at all. Perhaps you should try to read what i wrote and maybe you would see that your issue is being addressed.Out my feelings? If you knew about the man's politics you wouldn't be running your dikk sucker in the first place. Its not rocket science. Perhaps you should explore how much companies like Apple and Spotify pay artist per stream. Maybe then the dimwit light will click on and you can connect the dots.........and the article goes into full detail why he despised streaming as well. It wasn't all about the money with him, its not like he missed any of it anyway.

I know why he didn't like streaming, doesn't change the fact that you want to continue your legacy you need your music in the modern world to be accessible and easily so not locked away because you are scared you aren't getting what you used to get on a album.
If you are done be done, no need to quote me.We done here breh, this shyt is not up for debate. Why are you talking?
I'm salty because Jay-Z sold 33% of Tidal to the white folks. Tidal was the Negro best shot at 100% owning a music distribution platform. Sprint has voting rights in the company with that large of a share. fukk that shyt.
