If this is happening only cause they're revamping the old executive team, why is the site launched without having a proper executive team?

Not buying it Breh, something is going wrong.
Is your first time observing an acquisition? Tidal already had half a million users. They can't just shut down operations to find suitable people. Subscribers, customers etc want a smooth transition, what happens in the corporate section should not have a negative effect on the product.

First they need a strategy, then they need to actually buy it, then after the acquisition you start making moves such as moving moving operations to different locations, changing management, giving the implied inefficient workers the real etc.

Except this didn't happen over night. The board confirmed Jay-z's bid in January and there were talks between Aspiro and Jay months before that. I know that after an acquisition, the new owner lays out his vision and sees if the CEO and other suits agree with him, then he makes personnel decisions. If it was an amicable business decision, then wouldn't you announce the CEO was leaving before the relaunch? I mean he doesn't have to leave right then and there, but the CEO leaving after a disastrous marketing push looks bad.

The deal was not finalized until mid March, if he wasn't willing to leave until the deal was done they couldn't fire him directly. There was still beef among the shareholder until the last hour. And for all we know, he might've been gone but it wasn't official. Perhaps they were overlooking their options, finding the right candidates and on. They laid of a bunch of people in Europe, it wasn't a simple CEO switch, they are restructuring the whole business.

From a Pr standpoint, I don't know, I'm not interested in Pr. From my impression, it must be a crackhead running the Pr for the company, it's been a disaster across the board.
