In December, when we last heard from Tiger Woods, he gave a depressing press conference about the state of his back.


At the time, Tiger said his rehab consisted of walking, he was playing video games to pass the time, and there was "no light at the end of the tunnel."

Now, according to Robert Lusetich, author of "Unplayable: An Inside Account of Tiger's Most Tumultuous Season," Tiger's future to golf seems in jeopardy, as his condition has worsened.

Tiger Woods' agent says reports of setback are 'absolutely false'

Recent tweets of Tiger Woods’ demise have been greatly exaggerated, according to his agent, Mark Steinberg.
Steinberg dismissed tweets Monday reporting that Woods had suffered a major setback following his third surgery to his back and that he can’t sit without pain and has difficulty walking, calling the reports erroneous.
“The tweets that appeared this weekend about Tiger’s health are ridiculous and absolutely false,” Steinberg wrote in an email to USA TODAY Sports. “It’s reprehensible that every few months someone makes something up and it’s treated like a real story. Tiger continues to work on his rehabilitation and we will have an accurate update at the appropriate time.”
