Of course the ATL
:wtf::dahell:How has he had so much wear and tear from playing golf? He is experiencing shyt that retired football players deal with

Have you ever played a 18 hole round of golf? If you have imagine playing year round, for just about your entire life with one of the most violent & powerful swings in the history of the game. Violent swings put a tremendous strain on your back, but can also put a strain on your legs and knees. Tiger has overtrained (he got too big) and never fully regained his health. For idiots who say golf isnt a sport it's clear they haven't been paying attention

Im just moreso shocked then anything that golfers experience things like this. I expect this out of collision sports but golf just caught me off guard

As someone who has dealt with back pain(:flabbynsick:), I believe it. That shyt totally incapacitates you. Tiger's had three back surgeries(that we know of). His days of being an elite golfer are over

He also had knee surgery after the 08 US Open. You can't plant and drive the ball with bad knees much less a bad back

Thread title had me thinking Tiger was suffering from a :demonic: hemorrhoid flare-up :damn:

But on the serious, in between swings Tiger might have to get his :flabbynsick: Larry Bird on

Cant wait for that Tiger Woods 30 for 30
:banderas:
Came in to say this. One could argue that since the night he ran into that tree over 4 years ago that he hasn't been the same player but just a few years ago he was #1 ranked player in the world he just didn't win any majors that year.

its easy to forget how great he was but when you compare him to the "top" golfers today they still have a long road to go to even get where tiger was. I believe phil has 5 majors, I think rory has 4 and guys like bubba and speith have 2. Granted they're still young but still it just shows how much work tiger put in.

Dude is only 40 years after you turn 50 on the pga tour you can get exemptions. Tiger could realistically play gold for another 20 years ONLY IF he's healthy. Golf is an old mans game. Don't think he'll win 4 more majors to tie jack but if he can get his back and shot right anything is possible. One thing tiger has is time versus other sports.

My dad is an avid golfer, and he's been dealing with back issues in recent years. He's had to temper his swing and frequency on the course. Golf is actually really taxing on the body.

Tiger said the only thing he valued was major championships, you don't win them after 40(it's only been done 33 times since 1860).

Never realized that swinging a golf club could be so strenuous on your back.

Seems likes like he's done barring a miraculous comeback
Basically. He had an extremely violent swing when he was younger but moderated it as he got older. He was also training like a navy seal; at one point running miles in combat boots. It's very difficult for the average man to maintain normal activities of daily living after back surgery let alone golf. He's probably done.
Best to ever do it though in my humble opinion.
