No, they don't. When he was on top before the average white golf fan/analyst prayed for Mickelson to beat him. The media and golf world loved seeing his recent fall and they went through the rolodex of buzzing white golfers trying to find his replacement. Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Luke Donald etc, etc. White folks begrudgingly respect the beast that Tiger is on the course just like Serena is begrudgingly respected in tennis.
