This wasn’t a moral move .

Yeah a billion is a lot to turn down but how much is Tiger worth to the PGA now that all these other huge names have left for LIV ? He has them by the neck.

Mickelson took the money caise he has a degenerate gambling problem

With that said while Tiger doesnt need the money pissing off the PGA might have been a passive personal benefit

There is no chance Tiger makes another billion off the PGA in his remaining career. He's not going to play nearly enough.

Plus, even if Tiger did take the LIV money, the PGA would be desperate to still let him play in all the big tournaments just cause of the draw.

Pretty sure he did this shyt for legacy reasons, not financial reasons.

It sounds like someone is helping Tiger Woods save face by claiming he’s now a billionaire after he turned down the Saudi money.

The conspiracies some of y'all come up with are :mjlol:

Tiger Woods becomes a billionaire in the same week that it's rumored that he turned down a billion dollars. Let's also not sit here and pretend like Forbes is trustworthy when it comes to net worth as they've been known to lie and help celebrities inflate their net worth on more than one occasion :unimpressed:

Just because you say you're a billionaire doesn't make you actually a billionaire. Let's be realistic here and that goes for anybody and not just Tiger Woods.

Nothing about that conspiracy makes sense. Why would Tiger need to "save face" for turning down the LIV money when he's universally praised for the decision? What fukking connection does Forbes have to any of this that would make Forbes do their bidding? And you do realize that Forbes has been making billionaire announcements every day for the last two weeks?

If anyone helped Tiger save face, it was Greg Norman for leaking that he turned down that much cash in the first place. :russ:

It's not about Forbes being "trustworthy". It's about the conspiracy making no sense. Y'all try to conflate every fukking coincidence into a conspiracy....I guess that LeBron's billionaire announcement the same week was a conspiracy to distract attention from his associations with China or something, right?

His decision being universally praised means nothing in the grand scheme of things as it doesn't change the premise that the announcement was made during the same week it was rumored that it turned a billion. The timing of it is not a coincidence and I'm willing to bet that he made some sort of business deal in return for turning down that Saudi money. That's what I meant by saving face.

In the case of Bron, has any hit pieces came out lately linking Bron to China because I sure do remember that ESPN piece just a few weeks ago mentioning the owners and their connection to China and not a singular player or Bron in particular so don't bring him into the discussion.

The PGA tour about to be in real trouble with this LIV tour just cause of the money being handed out.

Just for winning this weekend, Charl Schwartzel will get $4 million for 1st place PLUS another $750,000 for his 4 man team having the best score ($4,750,000 for a 3 round tournament.
Schwartzel made $2.2 million in 27 tournaments last year, and his best year he made $2.6 million (and he has won the Masters before). He made in his career $20.6 million in 237 tournaments (since 2002) and just made 25% of that THIS WEEKEND

PGA gonna be sweating for a little while

You just made my whole point for me. They made the Bron announcement and the Tiger announcement the same week, along with a bunch of others. You think the Bron announcement is innocent, but the Tiger annoucement has to be part of some big conspiracy?

Anyone who immediately turns a coincidence into a conspiracy without any actual evidence or logic behind it shouldn't be taken seriously.

Tiger should have taken the money. Hell for his grand kids grand kids. He ain't got enough money how much money is enough. It's never enough. Until he owns a team and can print money it's never enough. I know a family own team baseball wise. They bought the team to print money. They've got more money than ya favorite sports figures.
