I haven't been watching but I was just reading about that dropped ball penalty. Was it actually a big thing that Tiger did?

Tiger cheating is nothing new :troll: But yes, moving the ball is a pretty big deal in golf even though it was only a few feet.

I was checking that golfcast feature for updates Friday afternoon and those dudes were heated that of all the people that were tied at -4 Tiger was listed first :why:

if fans, watching the event..... at home, can call in and dispute things going on in the event, to a human being... that is supposed to be in charge of the event, then that event is not a "sport".

Let's really sit back and dissect this for a minute. What fukking phone number did this guy call to get a direct line to someone involved in ruling over this tourney? What is the equivalent NBA number? 1-866-NBA-!!?

Seriously?

Fan: Hello. i'd like to speak to Mr. Goddell please.

Goddell: Speaking.

Fan: Ah yes, i'm glad i got you directly. Um, That play at 3:50 of the second quarter for the Patriots... that was not a touchdown. The ball did not cross the plain.

Goddell: we will look into this.

10 minutes later.... 7 points come off the board.

For real?

Key difference is that in other sports you have rules officials watching the game. In golf you have over 100 players out there and their aren't enough rules officials to keep track of everyone. What sucks is that the tv cameras only follow the top players so the lesser known guys have a higher chance of getting away with bending the rules.

Michael Thompson and Ryo have the low rounds of the day so far at -4. Hopefully there's a 66 out there for Eldrick.
