This would actually be a good 1 season netflix show. Have some goofy rich dad try to prank his family to see how they'll manage without him. Have the family be out of pocket like the Arrested Development family. Watch them move on quickly without him, stop fighting, and be happy together. Instead of revealing that he's alive, he'll try to make their lives hell or something. I don't know, I'm not writing this for free. Netflix hit me up.

the guardian dies and then the reality gives a list of things for the family to do that the guardian usually does
they then talk to the person and express how much they need them in their lives or for drama say how much better their lives were
