Just to clarify, I'm not making any statement about it one way or another. History is often more grey than we think and this is just an example. I thought it was an interesting historical tidbit. As stated, most of these people were half jew, it was a small part of the overall forces, and as mentioned in the video, as the oppression increased a lot of them were actually forced out and only stuck around if they had the right connections like the guy who worked directly for Hermann Goring.
I also thought the part where he mentioned the guy whose image was used by Goebbels as the ideal Aryan soldier was also half jew was funny.
Dude background on his wiki says his focus is WW2, WW1, and Cold War. I think most of his content online is WW2 because it's way more popular as far as interest than the other two.
But I've seen quite a few of his videos and he doesn't seem to be like an undercover nazi and has plenty of videos where he talks about them with a pretty negative tone rightly. Particularly this one.
Also, whenever some nazi sympathizer shows up in the comment section. they get shutdown quickly from what I saw. I don't know the guy and have no dog in the fight to defend the dude. I enjoy his videos though because they are detailed and you can tell the dude knows his shyt. As a history nerd, I love that. I love deep cuts or undertold stories of history because it gives you a better view of human history than a set narrative where history is presented almost like a super hero movie of good vs evil. It's always more complicated usually.
