If you knew who I’m related to, you wouldn’t be saying that.
This is more light skinned black people in this country than not. I don't think I'm under 60% but when I do my DNA test I'm expecting to see 60-70%, depends how African my grandfathers were.

I need help finding my brother
My wife bought me a DNA test for my birthday last month and I just got the results this morning. I’m only 57% African.
I always knew my Dad’s mom and Mom’s dad weren’t black, but somehow thought I’d be a lot more African than I am, even though I’m light skinned, but still very African American where it counts. Culturally, etc.
My African DNA is mostly Igbo (Nigerian). 24%, in fact. And by looking at Igbo brehs, yeah… I can definitely move there and fit in.
From the beard, eyes, face shape and nose, very close to what I look like.
But the 42% European vs the 57% African was surprising. I always thought I was closer to 75% African, but now all those arguments and fights when I was younger, defending my blackness make more sense.
Am I a future Cac? I really have to reconsider my dislike of most white people now. Not hate… just a healthy mistrust.
