Bible. Scroll. Script. Notes. All of it.
Black people are the most devout of Christian’s I’d argue in the whole world. The most Christian like, Jesus like of person existing today I would be willing to bet is an older black woman.
Yet, it seems that our enemies constantly continue to freely prey on us with no earthly retribution.
We need a different god outside of any abrahamic one because clearly, it’s not fukkin working.
You speak of the supernatural with no reasoning or wisdom.

You type on the internet in a first world country, as one of the richest human beings on planet Earth. If you make over $30k USD, when you die, you will stand in front of your creator complaining as he shows you that you lived as one of the top 1% earners out of 8.3 billion human beings. So blessed, you have the time and grace to disrespect your Creator and still be allowed to live.

Your ancestors believed in a God so great, they wouldn't even speak His name. PRE-SLAVERY, PRE JEWS.

His name was revealed to Moses, and you know the rest of the story. His name spread and survived past the atrocities of man.

Our ancestors tricked and sold us to devils, but the only African CHRISTIAN country was the ONLY one to defeat the colonizers, and not be sold in the slave trade. Funny how that works.

It's crazy how a group of people born into slavery in another country overnumbered and outmatched, found God, found his Word, and defeated the enemy, along side other Christians who snuck the REAL Bible to them becuase the demons gave them the SLAVE Bible. And our ancestors like Sojourner, Harriet Tubman and Fred Douglass found Christianity, used to to escape, and kept it in thier lives until death. Men and women strong enough to help thier people escape evil, but you think they aren't strong enough to dismiss a fake religon from a fake God?

I tend to see men and women like yourselves, who have never been in shackles and chains, talking more about the shackles and chains than the ones in them that escaped. Playing victim while men women boys and girls all over the world are being trafficked, enslaved, murdered and oppressed, while most do nothing, support vote for and bow to the MEN who commit the atrocities.

We know how Nike makes Nikes. How Apple makes Iphones. What billiionaires do. But we dont care. We just want to blame our Creator.

This doesn’t actually answer the point being made. Bro is preaching on a Tuesday.

My question is simple, if Black people are some of the most devout Christians on earth, why has that devotion done so little to stop generations of exploitation, suffering, and predation?

And your answer to that is basically:
“you live in a first world country” :mjlol:
“you make over $30k” :mjlol: (you are fukked if you do)
“don’t disrespect your Creator” :rudy:
“our ancestors believed” :rudy:
“other people suffer too” :rudy:

Bro is just trying to guilt trip right past the point.

Yes, Christianity helped many Black people endure slavery, resist evil, and survive. Nobody denies that. But what benefit is endurance when there is no end in sight?

Then the you go off script, probably not even knowing your own bible. “Pre-Jews” while citing Moses makes no sense, those were a gang of Israelites. Invoking “our ancestors,” “the real Bible,” “the slave Bible,” and “the only African Christian country” like that’s all one clean historical point is sloppy.

And the “playing victim” line is weak too. Talking about oppression is not “playing victim.” Honoring the people who escaped slavery does not require pretending the system wasn’t evil. You can respect resilience without lying about the circumstances.

Also, bringing up Nike, Apple, billionaires, trafficking, and human evil doesn’t prove your point. It actually makes the question worse. If evil is this constant, organized, profitable, and unchecked, then where exactly is the divine justice you’re defending?

Strip all the religious language away and your post boils down to:
“Our ancestors believed this, some found strength in it, humans are evil, so stop questioning God.”

You’re defending Christianity like it being a coping mechanism for oppressed people somehow proves it’s true or useful in the grand scheme. It doesn’t. It just proves oppressed people will use whatever meaning system helps them survive... and still remain oppressed.

i think you should do this to see if what you say is true: assume there is no god

then re-read your own words and see what they would make if you were "that" god

I don't follow.
I'm just rearranging it to see if it makes something different to you (changing it from generic statement to a generic command)

for instance if you said in reply: "I don't understand"

that limits the scope to how you think about the statement, but because you replied "I don't follow" it means you and your statement also potentially don't move

so even if I could show you differen't interpretations, your initial position of "I don't follow" could mean you should "never" follow.

whereas if you replace the word "follow" with "understand" its almost impossible to say you will "never understand" but that said there probably are things we may never truly understand but just claim to

Reuben was Jacob's (Israel) eldest son with Leah. Genesis 35:22 says, "And it came to pass, while Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine; and Israel heard of it."[7] As a result of this adultery, he lost the respect of his father, who said: "Unstable as water, you shall excel no longer; For when you mounted your father’s bed, You brought disgrace—my couch he mounted!"[8]
