Those are not NBA officials. They're hired goons to sway your opinion. Commentators, especially JVG, have a tendency to speak with their emotion, not their pragmatic mind.

Not what I'm saying. The comment was that it's "openly acknowledged," when the NBA denies it with extreme prejudice. It happens, less than people complain about, but its not some open and accepted practice by the league. So star players dont get preferential treatment in the NBA ?![]()

I know who he is, Im not familiar with many faces. If you have to ask, it explains why some of you are naive about the league possibly influencing these games.
Non-@sshole answer: Scott Foster.
If you care to learn more, google his name and put two and two together.

I see what you're getting at, but when they were "cool" I think Donaghy was still in the league. My time line is pretty shytty on the situation. Now, even tho it's 100% possible Foster is leaking info, why would he do it to the dude that stays on the radio giving info?
If it were true, he could pretty much get the same treatment as TD, as far as the banishment.
Again, Im not saying the league isn't forcing the games one way or another, thats a whole nother argument, but realistically, I don't think Donaghy is getting any real insider info.
I would think the Raps have a bigger fanbase, and the league has been wanting a Canadian team to be hot since Toronto and Vancouver came into the league. The Nets have a bunch of older players, and the Raps are full of young guns. I dont see how it would benefit the league more for Brooklyn to win.
Hell I could be wrong, but I just dont see it that way.
nba won the game for the nets in the fourth the final 4 minutes was some of the worst officiating i've seen this sacramento la
