Tim Duncan doesn't really strike me as corny. Seems like someone that is funny in the locker room but doesn't feel a need to pander to the media.

yeah, just a quite dude that keeps to himself. What Duncan is doing is amazing though; 18,10, and almost 3 blocks a night at the age of 36 :ohlawd:

 to Fisher if it wasnt for that punk Duncan would have 5 rings

they would not have beaten the 04 pistons, with that roster. The spurs were flawed heavily that year. They would not of beaten a healthy minny team either

We were defending champs that year and beat Detroit next year and they had the same damn roster and Larry Brown on the bench

Detroit didnt want those problems

No yall lost D rob, and lost Jax, added Hedo who choked in the playoffs and manu and tony weren't ready for big time yet.

Manu and Tony were both coming off a championship season they were ready and starting to come into their own. Still won 57 games that season. I think they definitely beat Detroit in 2004.

I agree with you on Hedo though choking in the playoffs SMH.

Tony in the 03 finals was being benched in favor of speedy claxton, and manu was still coming into his own. 04 was a transition year of sorts, Duncan had to take full Center responsibilities, as the spurs tried to find another big to pair alongside him.

in 05 Tony and Manu took off and the spurs won again.
