Duncan never made a huge media splash. He went about his business and never tried to be the "one" and take over things and just wanted to win with his team. His retirement will be a medium level story on SportsCenter that will be mostly overshadowed by whatever really grabs attention.

It's not a knock against him it's not a knock against Kobe it's just different.
