You trolling me, breh? Tim straight up said this year the Spurs are going to beat the Heat. No ifs ands or buts.

I just haven't seen that or a thread about it i'm just surprised honestly

Patrick Ewing guaranteed victory against the Pacers in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Pacers won 93-80, Ewing missed his final six shots, and he never suited up for the Knicks again.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA

Please Timmy, don't go out like that Hammer Pants on his knees, lumbering up and down the court, always looking like he was 45 minutes into a sauna session, box fade looking like it was rockin a v-neck, finger roll missing, low swag levels having, sweaty ass basketball Chewbacca.

This is what he said on TNT after the game. It was very much off the cuff after a tough win, and a rare slip for him.

"It's unbelievable to regain that focus after that devastating loss we had last year, but we're back here and we're excited about it," said Duncan. "We've got four more to win and we'll do it this time."

Now y'all shyttin on Patrick Ewing like he was a 2nd-3rd tier star? Patrick is an all-time great and put it all on the line every time he suited up. Like Patrick wasn't a beast....he did come up short a couple of times, but so did all of the others of his generation. Hell, had he played in '99, they might have won a ring.

Duncan been putting up pedestrian numbers and coasting for the past decade. With that said, I'm not saying that Ewing > Duncan, but come on now, don't overstate rings to diminish another's legacy.

??!?!?!? I never said ewing was better than Duncan bruh. But let's not act like Duncan would've beaten the bulls.

Duncan > Ewing obviously

Knicks would've beat the Rockets though if they had Duncan instead of Ewing, who was bricking jumpshots the whole series

No disrespect to the Dream

You're a year late.

Timmy already had his Ewing moment last year when he missed those two potentially game-tying shots over Battier. It gave me flashbacks of Ewing missing that finger roll.

Nobody is saying Dunc is a B-level star like Ewing... I just don't want him to taint his legacy with an empty guarantee.

I think the matter-of-fact, in-the-moment way he said it makes it so that it won't quite be viewed as a "guarantee".

Saying "we'll do it this time" right after a tough win just comes off as him being excited for a chance at redemption and approaching the series with a positive attitude.

If he had used the word "guarantee", made a more specific prediction, or reaffirmed his belief that the Spurs would win when questioned about it, it'd be different.

Actually Timmy's performance reminded of the game from a different perspective. His OT performance in a close out game on the road leading to finals reminded me of Reggie's 34 point game against New York as he closed them out on the road scoring 17 in the 4th quarter .

3:44 is a classic MSG scene
