he obviously not in his prime, but 17/10 in postseason is still :whoo:

Yeah but that was with well managed PT. I honestly dont see him keeping this up for the 3 years he got out of that deal. We'll see though. He has a good supporting staff and should allow him to be okay

Pop basically rests him and Manu all season for the postseason so they will be fresh to play the extended minutes, so I don't really expect a drop off in production in the 2013 playoffs

The D (where it's so cold)
You can say what you want about why Duncan did it, history will show he was a loyal player and a team first guy in an era where it's non existent. Alot of athletes talk about being loyal but when contract time comes up all you hear is alot of lip, Timmy literally put his money where his mouth is.

The type of money Duncan is leaving on the table would have other athletes completely shytting on a franchise.

Doesnt Timmy have previous in his peak years of deferring or takin less money from his contract later on

yeah in the mid 2000s he had his contract structured to take more earlier and then take less later to give the team more flexibility

Tim Duncan is still one of the better PFs in the game because of his defense, blocks shots, and he still can score in the post no problem. He just has no cartileage in his knees
