Yet Duncan's teams are still winning at a 60% clip and never miss the playoffs and have gone to two finals and a conference finals the last three seasons
yall are giving Duncan way too much credit. Pop deserves the most credit for winning with the rosters he has had. I get it, yall wanna make Duncan appear to be some consistent 'impactful' player, which he is, but lets not act like he's been dragging teams in the playoffs year in and year out. Tim has had competitive rosters and elite coaching his entire career. Id give Tim credit if he dragged a team like the 05 Lakers to the playoffs, but he's been playing with all-stars his whole career.

I don't know, you look at some of the early teams he had and once you got past the big three, the rosters were pretty weak. And it took Parker a while to become dependable--he was playing so poorly in 2002 that he was regularly on the bench during 4th quarters in the playoffs.

My goddamn self. Shout out to my real Africans
The picture to me is why is a global, multi-billion dollar league with billionaire owners creating caps that makes their best players take paycuts to stay with their team but the wealthy owners and this rich league cannot pay these same players more money. That is a form of bondage IMO to have alltime greats making as much or less than players that are not hall of fame worthy or will not be legends in the game. This would not happen European soccer leagues. Their best players get paid the most money. Oh my bad...I forgot, the league has too many nikkas....carry on :sas2:

Brilliant post.

He aint worth 24 million....that's why he's making what he's making while The Gawd is making what he's making:ufdup:

Kobe earned his contract coming off a 2013 season where he put up 27 pts, 6 rebs, 6 assts, and 1.4 stls on 46% FG and was the best SG in the NBA while being named All-NBA 1st Team. He got his worth:sas1:

Tim Duncan only put up 15 and 10.......and wasnt even a top 3 player at his position:sas2:
You forgot to mention that was the round he didn't make any noise in the playoffs. Or was that the year before? Or the year after. Lol
