So David Robinson, Nazr Mohammad, Rasho Nesterovic, Oberto, Splitter, etc are not Centers :lupe:
San Antonio has been playing a 2 Center system for the longuest. Duncan is the real Center. The others just guard the opposing Center.

And i have always maintained that in basketball between SG and SF and C and PF the position can be rendered irrelevant. What truely matters is WHO you can guard on defense.
  • Your PF may be your best rim protector but not your best person to guard opposing Centers. See Josh Smith. Smith was the PF and Hordorf was the C but Smith always led in shot blocks
  • Your PF may be your low-post defender but not your best rim protector. See Dennis Rodman (Spurs), Dennis Dennis defended opposing Centers most nights while David protected the rim
  • Your Center may be your best rim protector but not your best low-post defender for guarding opposing Centers but your coach may chose to NOT let him guard opposing Centers. See Alonzo Mourning. PJ Brown always guarded opposing centers
The point im trying to make is Duncan has always been and always will be a Center in my eyes. He just always played with another Center.

Your point sucks, it doesn't matter what YOU think he is, the majority of his career he guarded PFs and was listed as a PF, he guarded Karl & Chuck when he came into the league, show me all the centers in the NBA today that guard 4's like them :stopitslime: He even played PF in College next to Loren Woods for a short stint, he was drafted as a PF, played PF next to guys who were bigger than him -

But you wanna call him a C because you don't like the narrative of him being the best PF ever, I'd spit in your coffee B.

I'm confused Timmy Decades is averaging 16ppg 11rpg 4apg 2bpg 2spg on 57% vs the Clippers, he will never join that walking wounded nikka on the :flabbynsick: roster :mjpls:

And Kobe was top 3 in scoring just 2 years ago. But we all know he was :flabbynsick:.

What does 2 years ago have to do with anything? :lupe:

I mean, the Lakers had Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol and couldn't win :dead: Duncan isn't :flabbynsick: on defense like Kobe was then, and is now.

I'll say a pray for you when the Spurs get bounced.
