Tebow is a guy who has done alot of good but he's totally in the wrong here

you have ads making millions, coaches making like 5-6 mill, like 70,000 people in a stadium, billion dollar tv deals, memorilibia, jerseys etc. but because a player is getting a scholarship that is really not even a added expense to the school they should just shut up and be happy abeg
Dabo just signed a 93 million dollar deal.

fukking hick is making more than NFL players

“We try to teach our guys, use football to create the opportunities, take advantage of the platform and the brand and the marketing you have available to you,” Swinney was quoted five summers ago in the Charleston (S.C.) Post & Courier as part of an Al Jazeera America investigation. “But as far as paying players, professionalizing college athletics, that’s where you lose me. I’ll go do something else, because there’s enough entitlement in this world as it is.”

Interestingly, when Swinney uttered those words, he already had trademarked his unique name, which his players are forbidden from doing, and was about to register one of his famous encouragements, “Bring Your Own Guts,” another choice his players can’t make. You can get one of Swinney’s BYOG T-shirts for less than $25. The company states that its proceeds support Swinney’s All In Team Foundation aimed at education and health issues in South Carolina. That’s nice.

He's a piece of shyt.

I like Tebow, he seems like a genuinely good guy with CTE. you can tell he's been sheltered alot but i think he has good intentions. he's dumb tho. He kinda reminds me of Kevin from Daria

Nah Tebow knows what he’s doing pushing this agenda. He’s trying to stay in good graces with the powers that be that continue to grant him relevancy.

tim tebow has it all wrong....he's a 2x national champ and HT winner....he was in the league and has a job for life with the ncaa, he's got it made for life...he's the wrong one to ask.

if someone wants to pay a kid to hold a can of foot spray in a commercial...because of his popularity--then he should be able to do so. The NCAA started this shyt when they made it a business.

Isn't it funny how the only people held to the sanctimonious standards of collegiate purity are the athletes? The coaches can sign deals for tens of millions of dollars, break contracts to leave early and take jobs elsewhere, do paid advertisements. The NCAA can partner with corporations, sell the likeness of players for money, and craft schedules that interfere with academic calendars. But a player making a dime while in the midst of any of this is not only dangerous, it's a betrayal of ideals and decency huh.
:mjlol:

It's a business. They are employees who are making hundreds of millions of dollars for programs. Pay them.

That's not even what the proposed law is about. It's not Alabama paying athletes, it's athletes being able to get paid off their likeness.
Which should be automatic ANYWAY it's THEM that are on the field risking CTE every week. They deserve to get paid the MOST :mindblown::mindblown::mindblown:

:whoa:

I'm explaining HIS point. People are in here angry as fukk, as if he said "Don't pay them nikkas a thing" He clearly says they should be paid and things should be done so nobody has to struggle in college.

The ONLY thing he is against, is every school being an NFL team.. Cause we all know the top 20 schools are gonna pay and 85 other schools are going to be the Miami Dolphins

Now me personally, I don't even watch college ball, so fukk it, pay them... Maybe I would watch if it was just 20 all star teams and non of that 89-0 blowout bullshyt :yeshrug:
Isn’t this kind of how it is already?

Ehhhhh maybe Alabama... But if you look at the top 25 over the past 10 years, it's always some new blood in and old powerhouses out. I mean where is Tennesse or Nebraska or even Bouise State from years ago. Where's Miami come and gone and come and gone to. Penn State in and out depending on the year. And that's with illegal payments and boosters and shyt

Now imagine if they could just flat out pay. I think people should listen to the whole segment. Tim coming from a "I don't want college to be the NFL" stance. That's all. He's not saying they shouldn't be paid. They shouldn't get more shyt. Or anything like it. He's saying IF you start flat out paying. You're just going to have the NFL. And college fans aren't going to care as much. That's why he was going into ratings and stadium sizes. Cause those people are going to be like "why not just watch nfl then"
