Tebow is the one lying here.
Remember that round table on ESPN with Jaws, Hoge, and Schefter?
Schefter was the one that said "I spoke to Tebow last night..." and went on to say that Tebow did indeed say he didn't want to be involved anymore because he was frustrated, but then later had a change of heart on Friday, but by then it was too late and the game plan for the week had already been set.
So Schefter reported that Tebow directly told him one thing, and now Tebow is trying to contradict his own original story with one that doesn't tarnish his image.

I'm not saying that he is the sole reason the Broncos got to the playoffs last year, but there is no way a Quarterback who isn't NFL caliber (starter OR benchwise) takes a team to the playoffs let alone the 2nd round

. Look at Vince Young. While he was starting the only good thing you could say about him was that he was winning. Same with Tebow. Vince got kept around till he started losing and why not? You take wins however you can get them in the NFL. Why not give Tebow the same chance to keep winning until he's a proven loser? If not then Tebow fans will always be able to say he was a winner that got ran out of the league without being given a fair shot. And I see their point
