Timbo already made innovative music in the late 90's and the whole 2000's. This isn't Timbos era. His era is already solidified. He's referring to this era and the people from this era who are making music.
But if he doesn't like it what's stopping him? Many artist who have preceded him have came through with amazing projects in the last few years. Nothing is stopping him getting together with someone like Missy and giving us a Timbo/Missy style Common/PR Auditorium type album. Rather than moan about it he needs to show the current gen how fukking atrocious they are.

The problem with this statement is that Timbo still makes music. According to his production discography he never stopped making music.
