People will skip right over what HIS criteria was and knock the list because it doesn't match their's.

Again, looking objectively at this list, you can't really knock it considering the longevity, impact, influence, and body of work (I think Swizz is behind the other three in that department though).

How is this list generic? A generic list is the typical Dre, RZA, and (insert all the producers from Illmatic not named L.E.S.) rounding out the top 5. People are ready to crucify you if you make a Top producers list without including at least one, if not all of the producers on Illmatic. L.E.S. is the only one of them you don't see on these lists.
