That's a bad look. He didn't wanna perform so they found the one stipulation in the contract (ace of spades) that wasn't fulfilled to get out of it is what it sounds like.

Maybe theirs more to the story too...but really, Tim couldn't do a 30 min set, get that crowd hype and the party going...people would have got more loose with their wallets and prolly would have generated a lot more donations.

It sounds like they paid him to make an appearance only then asked him to perform & he declined because that's not what they PAID for...

I'm only speculating because I've seen this before. Some cats will even make Flyers for artists saying "Performance by..." knowing they only paid that artist to make an APPEARANCE... this happened to Nicki a few years back & she was shytted on before she cleared it up...

Even if this is true, Timbaland is right not to perform if the promoter didn't do their job. I've seen this happen simply because an artist didn't get enough microphones to perform. An agreement has to be established before the show and the terms weren't met. It's disrespectful to expect him to perform if that's the case.
