Tell that to the people who sent him music and said they heard their sh*t on tracks he said he made after the fact, on IG Live.

This is the music game. That sh*t happens 24/7. We've seen it happen a million times. So when I see people asking their followers to send them music because they "can't find inspiration", then see mad people saying they did that, and then magically the person who got sent all this music starts blocking people who ask about what happened to the music they sent...we know what's up.

And again, there's no proof. Which songs? What artists were stolen from?

All you're telling me is conjecture.

You're just proving the point.

So basically, if all the people getting robbed who are being blocked for asking about what happened to their music, haven't shown me proof that they got jacked, then it's just "conjecture". This is exactly why I posted that no one should ever send anyone they don’t know any music. And this is also why so many artists and producers get robbed. The whole "prove I robbed you" sh*t is how so many of these dudes get over. Especially online.

That whole stance is the problem.

Yes. If you can't provide proof, what are we doing? I could come on here and say I wrote for T.I., never got credit, and he stole my music. People would believe it without me ever proving it (which is dangerous because it creates narrative and to people who don't like him, it becomes fact). Yes, it's conjecture. You can't win a court case without PROVING your claim. You can't even get a passing grade on a paper without proving your claim. Yet people can get on here and post BS without proof without reproach or consequences.

What we're doing is calling out the bullsh*t.

If I have x-amount of followers who I asked to send me music, then after they do, and ask me about it, I start blocking them...then I'm foul.

This ain't a courtroom or an episode of The View. Dude asked people to send him music. Indie artists. After a ton of them did, those same people start getting blocked once they checked back in to see what happened with what they sent. Other followers had to start speaking up and asking why everyone who sent music was being blocked now. Too many artists over the past couple of decades have been robbed in the same fashion. Pretending that's not the case, is wild.

We're discussing what's happening to artists and producers online. Not filing cases against people. So a couple of things. First, you need to relax. You're taking it way too personally, for some reason. Secondly, when you see that many people being blocked all of a sudden just for asking about what happened to music they sent, it doesn't take a genius to see why they were blocked.

It is just as foul if not more foul to call someone a thief without proof. That's gossip. If you send them music and they block you, that's not foul. It's only foul if they block you and they use your music.

You're not showing me anything.

Discussing what's happening to artists in the music industry is one thing, but calling someone a thief without proof is equally as bad as stealing. That's foul as theft. I don't agree with what Timbaland is doing with A.I. and I think it's desperation and clout chasing on his part, but to call him a thief with no proof is foul.

If you're offended by people saying dude is a thief, that's personal.

I wasn't talking about Tim (who's been accused for taking credit for other's people's work, for years), I was speaking on Dallas. He asked people to send him music. They sent it. After sending it, they checked back in to see what's up with what they sent. A lot of people. Those same people started getting blocked. Other followers start hearing the blocked followers' music being played by dude on his IG Live, with him now saying he's "inspired again" and these are the new things he's worked on. But no word on why all of those people who sent him music got blocked, all of a sudden.

If you don’t see anything wrong with that picture, then maybe I should also advise YOU not to send anyone you don’t know, any music, lol.

Remove Timbaland. If this was a thread and someone was calling another person a thief without proof, I would have a problem with that. Being accused =/= being a thief. Danja has said on multiple occassions, that he wasn't making beats for Timbaland. His name is in the credits. He even states he received royalties and publishing and says Timbaland didn't steal from him. J-Roc appears as a co-producer on most Timbaland tracks going all the way back to 2008-2018.

And yes, calling Dallas Austin a thief and all you have is people getting blocked and him playing new music after being inspired, but call him a thief anyway is foul. Not only is it foul, it's messy.

We already have enough artificially intelligent mainstream "artists" following a program pre-trained on degeneracy and illiteracy. AI can easily replicate the trash being pumped out ad infinitum. This should be a wake-up call to take the craft seriously.

AI will impact the music industry, but Timbaland's approach will fail because it already has. Everyone's trying to be first in this space instead of identifying how AI can make creating as frictionless as possible without compromising the integrity of the art form.
