So a Former Popstar/Hollywood B Lister with a 'come back' album carried entirely by production = RnB is back ?

RnB isn't rap, sales mean nothing

JT hasn't been a b list celebrity since the Mickey Mouse club:krs: And timbo's production, however great, didn't carry this album to goat status. That can be attributed to JT's star power and him reinventing the Rnb falsetto:lawd:.

And lol at sales not meaning anything to RnB singers. Tell that to Robin Thicke:heh:

LOL He didn't break Usher's Confessions record, so now they're calling it a pop album :mindblown:

I suppose sounding like one is being castrated is reinventing falsetto. :duck:

LOL @ all these people, "Look at Justin's Sales, He's bringing RnB Back, Why can't Usher, Frank or Miguel do this". 1st these sales are not surprising at all. Justin has 2 Diamond albums and a 5x Platinum album with Nsync. His 1st solo did 500k opening week and sold 3x Platinum, his 2nd solo did 600k 1st week and went 4x Platinum. Justin has never had a problem selling records his entire career. You guys act like Nsync fans died and are no where to be found. No they are all in the 20's/early 30's now still dreaming of sleeping with JT. Also It's been 7 years since the last Justin LP. Sure he's done a collabo here or there but it's obvious when you are coming off a Classic album with "Futuresex", people were going to be checking for his new work.

"Suit and Tie" was a good single. People hate on Jay's verse and the song but the fact is, it's a good single that worked in bringing Justin back to the public eye. Lastly I've never seen an album this heavily promoted in years. What I mean is the role out. Maybe Nicki last year with "Roman Reloaded" but they pulled out all the stops for Justin. TV appearances, Pre Super Bowl shows, Pre Grammy shows, the whole 9. In closing the numbers again aren't surprising and it doesn't say anything about other RnB artist numbers. I agree that Usher and others need to get off this Techno B.S. and get back to real RnB but Justin album isn't even fully RnB as it's mostly Pop. The last great RnB album was from my boy Maxwell, if you haven't heard it, it's been 4 years, catch up. "20/20" is straight, I liked it overall but it's far from the 2nd coming like people have been hyping it up.
