People should study whatever they want, I'm saying that finance majors or other majors are not the crux of the issue , it's absurd to suggest that hiring non engineers is a solution to lack of diversity
The only real solution to the lack of diversity is for black people to shift more toward stem degrees, any other solution is frivolous
I don't think you have a full grasp of the situation

They need to increase their numbers across all departments period. When they start hiring blacks in other departments where there are plenty of of qualified applicants to chose from then I will believe they are serious about diversity and will talk about getting more blacks in engineering fields. Until then miss me with that bullshyt.

Coders/engineers and ENTREPRENEURSHIP is what even gave rise to twitter.
Dudes keep sleeping on the autonomy that STEM majors have over just humanities majors who do administrative work have.

It doesn't help that so few women and minorities (outside asians) major in engineering/computer science.
When I graduated in Aerospace Engineering, we were only 4 blacks (out of 70 grads). Actually, one of my professors said that was a record year (the norm was zero)... There were less than 10 women too.

Exactly. They don't hire in the fields that AAs DO have degrees in but they will if they get STEMS?
And Twitter is just a platform. AAs have taken the platform and make it run...I'm sure people like Desus and KidMero could be invaluable to an organization based on social media.

More STEM graduates are likely to be entrepreneurs anyways
Even further your point doesn't make any sense.
AAs aren't even in STEM fields like that, so you can't judge what would happen if more of them majored in STEM.
