ROC Nation sucks, all the credible names on the roster were already headliners before them signing, only new people they lightweight introduced is Meek Mill and Big Sean , who aren't really big names in a mainstream sense.

Now you are just moving the goalposts. First you say Roc Nation isn't a successful label, and when that is proven to be false, you go on to say it's unsuccessful because the all the acts were big names before signing there, which is also false.

For any company to be considered successful, they have to be doing well in whatever field of business they are in, which Roc Nation is clearly doing.

Instead of throwing out any logic, just say you don't like dude for whatever reason, and keep it moving, because you are looking foolish passing these false statements off as true.

Just cause you sign big name artists doesn't mean you are going to be successful with them.Artists work with a team of producers, writers and all kind of people in their background.

RocNation is not that good of a label ,period. It has not cultivated any debuting talent And it was that big it the name of this new streaming music would probably be RocNation Stream or Roc Stream.

What business ventures has Jiggaman gotten into after Dame Dash, he can't even relaunch a successful clothing line like RocAWear, which Dame the Lame Dash was behind.

Stop sucking these nikkas dikk,Jay-z business dealings are only taken serious because of his success as an artsists not as a businessman. Listen and learn fool..

Not cultivated any debuting talent? What do you call J. Cole, Rita Ora, Calvin Harris, and DJ Mustard? All of them have earned a Gold or Platinum plaque while on the label, and that's damn good in this day and age.

Keep being delusional though breh.

DJ Mustard signed late in the game with RocNation breh,he already had bangaz .Calvin Harris same thing he signed later before RocNation came to ride his wave.J Cole and Rita Ora I could concede, they are one in a few. But you missed my point, Jigga man doesn't just fall short Roc Nation ,he hasn't really branched off into other ventures. No matter how much sucking him off you do ,won't change that.

The event was disgusting brehs, I have no problems with the app and shyt but they way they presented it was not nice. The fact that he summed the highest earners made it even worse.

To use words like culture and shyt, play on our emotions and shyt for a deal orchestrated by investment bankers and the richest artists is purely embarrassing. They disrespected the customer with that shyt..

jack white is the highest earner? arcade fire? those are the epitome of indie artists and are on independent labels. J cole amongst the highest earners? sure he is doing good as far as new rappers are concerned but lets not act like he ballin like that.

being offended is basically our social media moment summed up. social media mad at the new daily show host. social media mad at lena dunham. social media mad at kendrick lamar. u cant say this, u cant say that, u shouldnt have done this. lol, nikkaz need to stop talking on twitter and start acting out there in the real world

it like twitter is just mad and offended over irrelevant shyt. every day is a new thing to blow up over.

u didnt like the presentation? ok, and? should the world stop until y’all get un offended?

either you use the app cause its useful or you dont. im not using it cause i dont need to, but all the offense taking is some granstanding nonsense that happens too often now its so predictable.

how should they have presented it? who should have been part of the original owners? yall should give alternatives to what you saw that made you feel like you were witnesssing a crime against humanity.

are artists being underpaid in this spotify era yes or no? if so, why shouldnt jay have emphasised that. how is that playing on emotions? he already said if you consume music for free its not for you.

Another goalpost relocation.

So now for a record label/management company to be successful , it has to branch off into other ventures.

You just don't give up.

I said the features in luxury cars are typically better which they are and as far as the safety I don't think there is much difference. A Benz or other luxury cars may get some safety feature a little earlier but it almost always trickles down to the other lesser cars. Seriously its probably not much big stuff safety wise that's on a luxury car that's not on a regular car. Not that people really care about that stuff big time anyway cause the safety stuff that is there is pretty good now.

some do trickle down at some point....i admit the feature gap is closing in a lot of areas. traction control & stability control is finally hitting regular cars as a legal requirement. but it damn sure was a huge gap 10yrs ago.

but if you want an awd car who is doing that outside of subaru and Mitsubishi Evo for non luxury brands even now in days...and at that point the prices get close and still lacks some of the creature comforts of luxury brands.

Jack White was an interesting choice, one of the few rock artists debuting at #1 and he's still rich as fukk.

Arcade Fire are probably the highest earning indie artists.

and J. Cole is Jays first signee, I don't think that it's his choice to be there.

Other people who weren't in the video are Dri$$y Drak€ and Tay£or $wift :sas2:.

No the world doesn't have to stop but I might not support it due to them insulting my intelligence. I want to see black people win, you don't deserve to win (in that particular field) if this is how you choose to execute your shyt. It's their loss, not mine. Cause mad people felt exactly the same.

We talking about now good brother not a decade ago lol. Awd isn't on all the regular cars but hell if you got fwd you good anyway now rwd might be more of a problem. I do agree about the prices get and already said the creature comfort stuff is not as good as luxury cars. I just know the feature gap is closing and that was my main point saying what I originally said.

lol, the only thing Roc Nation gets is props from everywhere. Jay Brown is in all these power lists and shyt due to him being President, It's really impressive how quickly they built something a lot more powerful than Roc-a-fella ever was.

They've never claimed to be "talent agents", I've no heard of them locating big budgets to actively seek for new talent. They manage careers in different fields, for different aspects, different nations and on.

There's only like 5 people on the actual label, Cole, Willow Smith, Rihanna, Electronica, Calvin Harris and who else?

How on God's green earth do you not consider dropping 300$ on headphones not a luxury?!?! The reason there is no tier above that is because they are already taking motherfukkers to the bank charging 300$ for Beats. What I am trying to tell you is that the equipment people ACTUALLY USE to create music often costs LESS that the consumer shyt they're scamming you with.
I consider brands like senheiser, aiaiai, grado, bose, pioneer, and audio technica to be considered more "luxury" brand headphones (grado markets a pair of headphones that retail for $1,695) and have way better sound quality than beats, monster, sms etc. Then again those are for serious music production and djs and not for casual listening.

There is no way you was around then because, you would know how it was. The equipment wasn't cheap, and even CDs cost more then tapes, so a lot of people had to go with tapes because it was cheaper. Both tapes, and equipment.

You just showed me you either was living in a well to do area, and had no friends who weren't well off, or you are repeating what you read on goggle, forgetting the fact that MONEY was the barrier to a lot of technology then. I really thought you was an old head who was actually around the things he post about. You got me good:umad:
I couldn't afford cds...until 1996.

From 1993 onwards it was cassette tapes...shyt back in the day cds were like $16.99-$24.99...that's a lot of money to a little kid who had to sneak cassette tapes with parental advisory stickers away from my parents when I bought Em at Camelot music or national record mart from the mall.
