How can a stan of a player who never was as good as he thought, criticize an all time great like Duncan? Duncan at 40 is a better defender than Kobe was in all but maybe 2-3 seasons.

Father Time is undefeated and Duncan is just another victim of his wrath. Last season and in the playoffs he was still highly effective but you could see after about 25-30 games that he didn't have it anymore. It's all good though. Good luck finding another big man who plays for 18 years plus 4 years of college with pretty much all of them being good to great seasons. Tim has nothing to be ashamed of. It's just his time to hang them up. Just wish he didn't do it the same season as Kobe but I cant or don't want to see him back on the court next season. He has nothing left to prove and his legacy is secure.
