I've only done four. The Complete Web Developers course by Rob Percival which I kind of recommend. It was a little too basic for me. I learned some things.

Then there is Anthony Alicea's Javascipt series which I cannot recommend enough. It's around 30 hours. Does a stellar job at breaking down Javascript on the back and front end.

I just bought into Percivals class. Would you recommend that JavaScript course to build off the stuff you learn in the web developer course? I'm also wanting to tackle web app development and I know that's very JavaScript intenvsive

Yep. It's split into three courses. Angularjs, nodejs and vanilla js. All 3 are worth your time.

Is the course you're talking about called JavaScript: Understanding the Weird Parts?

To be honest, I'm not sure what I'm into yet. I'm a complete novice. So I'm wondering if I should just go to the library and pick up a basic book on coding to get some background knowledge ?
The courses are just 10 bucks though so i feel like even if I'm completely lost I should probably just reach in there and grab something up while the sale is going on....

Look at the courses that have a high ranking and read some of the reviews from people. That will give you an idea on how good the instructor is. Also, look at the preview clips.

I'm taking this per recommendation of someone else in this thread. I have background in all of the languages but its still an overview course and you can be a beginner. It's a crash course in multiple languages so you can eventually be a full stack developer (front and back end) so its a great place to start for someone that's curious but doesnt know exactly where they want to go yet. Good luck and happy learning breh:salute:
