This the problem wit us in ny why caNt troy just coexist wit them gs9 nikkas? We finally got some nikkas buzzing from the boro for once and you talking about filing paperwork why cant everybody eat?

They have Two different styles too..bobbys in. More of an uncle murda lane plus we still havent seen if bobby smurda can even make a hook yet..listen to the tape rebel can make songs tho we need more music from bobby

C'mon man. First you said, NY, now you saying BK. That said, even from BK, I would put Jay, Big, Kane, Busta (technically from BK). While her run was relatively short, some might argue Lil Kim would go before Fab.

No I'm not changing NY to BK, I'm saying he's one of the most successful NY rappers ever and the third most successful BK rapper ever. How was Kane more successful than Fab? More legendary, of course. But not more successful. Busta and Fab is debatable. Kim has more name recognition.

Solo Rappers from NY clearly more successful than Fab (Not counting Run DMC)
Biggie, Jay, Nas, Pac (technically), 50 Cent, Diddy, DMX, Ja Rule. That's pretty much it. Everyone else you can debate or it' Fab by a long shot

Troys "buzz" is what everyone thinks bobby shmurdas is which is forced because hes from ny. Troy pretty much forced himself on us when no one really cares about dude like that out here and in general. If Troy had a real following it wouldnt matter about GS9 right now.

I peeped that too. The salt is real on their end lol But can you blame them? They wanted NY to get behind their movement so bad but it got flipped on em easily. Anyone out here can attest to that.

If that's true...and dude's entire buzz and run is over just because some other random rapper got a week's worth of attention, he never really had a buzz or a run in the first place...there's what like 9 million people in NYC and you're telling me there can only be ONE popping upcoming new rapper at a time on some Highlander sh!t? ...On top of that, they don't even remotely sound alike...there should more than enough space for him to coexist with any other number of rappers...that's how "scenes" are brought about...schoolboy's run isn't over because yg started popping...migos run didn't stop because young thug got some songs that were hits and etc

You gotta take into account that Troy is a 50 cent clone trying to come up while the actual 50 cent is in an actual space to be active in the general public. Not to mention he hasn't exactly given his blessing to let him run with his style.

Between the old nikka he's blatantly ripping off and the young boy with a much more organic buzz (who seems a hell of a lot more authentic) his well is running a little bit dry at the moment and there is no real guarantee that it can pick back up.

Basically. Outside of having the radio on, I have never in my life heard anyone bump Troy Ave or his crew BSB out here. The regular listener from up here may only know about Troy Ave from the "Your Style" song because of the radio play it gets. But that's where the buck stops. But in these last few weeks, I have seen kids (as well as adults) bumping Hot Nikka and doing the Shmoney Dance.

But his "run" is far form over. What are you judging this by? Dude just did a joint with Diddy, Mase and TI.... he will be getting more for shows now than he ever has - and let's not forget that is how artists eat.

It's true. Just look at his youtube views. Dude doesn't have a single song/video with more than 250k views. We're talking about songs that have been out over 6 months. Nothing has over 250k views. There's only like 2 just cracking 200k. His biggest video view wise is his HOT interview calling Kendrick a weirdo rapper.

nikka rapped for 8 years just to get some kinda buzz, big enough to get Diddy and Mase and T.I. on a track, and some little nikka swooped in and stole all his buzz from being at the right place at the right time.

I can't recall someone getting the spotlight taken from them that fast

Dude did summer jam, "reunited" GUnit and Dipset and now all NY cares about is Bobby Shmurda and is dance. Troy would been better off putting in an application for the same spot the Kidd Kidd currently holds down and been "Lil" 50 and built his shyt up that way
