I remember being real little (I was in 3rd grade at the time) and watching the clips of the aftermath on TV. Seeing all the people coming out of the WTC with soot covering their mouths and faces like it was ash wednesday.

When 9/11 happened I thought about that attack in 1993 and was thinking "they (whoever was responsible for the first WTC attack) finally did it".

I never really thought of it until later...

Also I remember when I was 12/13 I had an Independence Day toy (it was like Mighty Max toys with the miniature world in a case with figures and whatnot) that had a alien invasion theme with a WTC replica that you could knock down...
