uh oh: Richt says Walton's season is over

Homer will be fine starting, but now we got a 5th year guy whose never done anything and often-hurt freshman behind him. he was gonna hit the league too, still might (he wont pull a Yearby lol, i think he'd make an NFL roster based on his existing resume. will get drafted if he can workout)

id also like to see Deejay get some carries (late in weaker games). because hes a talent with no home. hes the 6th or 7th WR, and by the time they could get him back to corner the Monstars will be there along with a quickly emerging Malek Young and Bandy. it might be time to put him @ HB for a minute

he had no biz being in that damn Duke game, wtf else is Choc's scholly good for if he cant take some trash carries at the end of games? we were up 20 for fukks sake

i'm happy that the streak is over, but truth be told, we actually played a pretty shytty game. defense, especially rush defense was downright bad. on offense, O-line was getting abused most of the game, WRs had some bad drops, Malik some bad throws. but all is forgiven for now.

need to focus on GT though, this is a trap game if I ever seen one.

The crazy part is that's the worst game we played all season richt got to learn he have running backs ain't that right @alpo

I get Richt's thinking, we had more QB runs than running with our shyt O line vs their D-line. My biggest thing with Richt is why not give Homer more burn when Walton was clearly struggling with the injury?

This is what I don't get. Homer got less burn than in the first three games when Walton was visibly at his worst.

Not looking for Herndon and not going back to the bubble screens until the 4th were also head scratchers when Malik fell out of rhythm.

I agree with the earlier posts, get Deejay Dallas some carries. Also, do we really not have any motion sweeps out of the backfield for Jeff Thomas?

The offensive talent is raw but we're not really doing them any favors in trying to get them involved/keep the chains moving to make Malik's life easier.

Agreed with what everyone is saying in here. Walton probably shouldn't have played at all v Duke, but especially not in the 2nd half when the game was pretty much wrapped up and of course he got hurt again. Then yesterday it was clear he wasn't right but Richt kept running him out there instead of giving Homer some carries, when he's proven capable, especially with a hobbled Walton. Crazy that the 2 best rbs we've had since probably McGahee unless I'm forgetting someone, Duke and Walton, both had season ending ankle injuries vs FSU (admittedly Walton's was probably an accumulation of injuries but the one that put him out for good was yesterday)

I like Homer and think he'll do fine, but someone else will need to step up for depth.
