we gotta remember Perry is a true freshman that didn't early enroll. its rare that a true freshman is ready to lead a team, and nkosi wasn't like a 5 star recruit either.

He was even more inconsistent than Malik with his arm and had the turnover bug.

Shirrefs can make all the throws but his mechanics fall apart once he's flushed out of the pocket and gets sacked a lot.

Malik, with his obvious weaknesses, is the best overall option we got.

The thing that bugs me is...why don't we come out in the first like we come out in the 4th with the easy bubbles to the reliable guys like Berrios and Herndon to set a tempo and some rhythm?

Perry could be Lamar Jackson.
In this age you can’t afford to have flat footed “pocket QBs”. We all saw how Kaaya’s limitations hurt the team for 3 years.

Having a guy who can air it out and stretch defenses is practically invaluable.

What's stopping richt from putting Perry in?

only way nkosi sees the field at this point is:
-in garbage time (we haven't dominated any game from start to finish all season, so no chance there)
-if malik starts out a game 1-12 with 3 picks, 2 of em being pick sixes
-if malik suffers an injury. and even if that happens (knock on wood) then sherrifs might get the nod

he's gonna get his shot, but let the kid get a full spring under his belt and a full offseason to put on some muscle

Seeing him try to get JT Money, Cager, and Harley going early was refreshing. Schemed twice to get JT good looks (second worked like a charm, only got caught because he was gassed and that GT DB is a 10.6 100m runner). But, I think we all said it, let's give Langham those looks we keep giving Cager.

I want to see us come out in the first drive with RPO, just killing them with quick hits. Heavy dose of Homer with quick hits to Berrios and Herndon. I feel like some of the shots we take downfield don't have a chance in hell because they're never set-up. So often we just go deep on an obvious passing down without anything that happened in the plays before to disguise it.

Also, our defensive line, how dominant a unit this is. These dudes are animals and it's going to hurt to basically lose all of them other than Joe Jackson next year

The starters are always all up in the mix but a guy like Trent Harris seems to be involved in a play every time he's on the field.

But then next year DJ Johnson, Patchan, Ford, and Garvin
