I hope this is a game where we can blow out the opponent and rest the starters like OSU. Too many down to the wire games giving nikkas high blood pressure and sh*t :mjcry:
With the way their offense runs :francis: There's no taking the foot off the gas against a team like Syracuse.

It's wild playing two teams with unique, well executed approaches at total opposite ends of the spectrum in back to back weeks. Going from a team that threw the ball 8 times to one that'll throw it 45+, and do it at the highest tempo in the nation :heh:

Baber is a Briles desciple but so far, the offense at 'Cuse has been a lot less vertical than his BG or Briles'. That might be on Dungey's arm. But it's a lot of creative underneath stuff. Middle Tenn were able to really shut them down with a good pass rush that didn't let plays develop, and sure tackling that kept everything in front of them.

Looks more like Leach's offense than Briles', imo. But yeah, quick looks designed for YAC and a breakneck tempo could be a nightmare for us to deal with.

D-Line is going to have to be strapped in for a long one. Good thing we have depth, but getting players in/out in time is also a nightmare against them.

Also, our defensive line, how dominant a unit this is. These dudes are animals and it's going to hurt to basically lose all of them other than Joe Jackson next year :dwillhuh:

The starters are always all up in the mix but a guy like Trent Harris seems to be involved in a play every time he's on the field.

But then next year DJ Johnson, Patchan, Ford, and Garvin :whew:

dont forget Dee Jack, he puts in work and will be there next year. i think him and Joe Jack will be fine starting with DJ and Garvin (who looks insanely good in limited time) will be a good group

Gerald Willis is really bustin it on the scout team, if we get him back to go with Bethel/Ford/Silvera that would be a big help inside.

he was never dismissed, and while i assumed (along with most) that he was a goner, apparently hes been putting in work

Mac is as good as gone, hes not an NFL DT but hes a 3-4 end and will go high. Norton is a likely top 2 round pick, so yea we have to prepare to lose the DT's. Moten not a big loss

nikkas just want who they want to start. Perry isn’t even a lock to start once Malik leaves. I know Richt is going to bring in one of his QB’s:mjpls:
One of "his qb's"..... you realize we're rolling with athletic qb's moving forward because we run an RPO heavy offense. Richt bringing in a statue wouldn't make any sense.

Yessssss :Bless:

it kind of gets lost in how bad Knowles was, but i like how Shel was playing safety. think it was a good switch, him and Quan are a good compliment to each other. he hasnt rocked the chain yet but Jaquan's tackling and coverage have been great

I'mma need to see them boys iced out all day Saturday :ohlawd:

Richt saying they might make a switch at RG with Mahoney starting.

Also saying they're going to practice more tempo with the offense this week. Let's see if they come out with Malik in a groove
