Is the consensus that we need to go undefeated to get into the playoffs? Obviously if we have a bad loss or get blown out by ND or Clemson it won’t happen. But what if we have a close loss to ND but beat Clemson, or beat ND but have a close loss to Clemson? I have a tough time thinking we’ll be able to run the table, but who knows. I didn’t think we’d even be having this conversation before the season so it’s time for us to be greedy now that we’re close

I think we could get into the playoff with a loss, but it couldn't be to either ND or ACC Title Game. That's an outside chance though. The CFP team is thirsty as hell to put the loser of the SEC title game in anyway if UGA and BAMA are undefeated before it

I feel you on that "back" talk making you feel a bit tight cause it feels a bit premature. I felt the same way in 2012 in Muschamp second season and shyt was def premature.

Exactly. We do look better on the field but I want to see how Richt prepares them against a top team like a Clemson or ND. The fact that they already have faced like 5 ranked teams while we only went against 1 kinda' plays to their advantage unfortunately. If we come out and don't look phased by the physicality and talent of ND then I'm all in. I'll be the most ignorant Canes fan you know.
