Most of the top line players only have one or two flaws, so what is this saying? Kawhi is an extremely limited playmaker, he can't consistently beat doubles with the pass. He more often tries to dribble or shoot his way out of a double, which plays into a defenses hands if his shot ain't going. His court vision is low and his reaction to see the open man is slow, he can be too late rather than proactive...

This is a significant weakness if you have the defense to expose it, he doesn't shoot 80% every night 😆 you stunt on him and force him to have to make a decision with the ball and he can get turnover prone. This is Kawhi's kryptonite---->force him to make decisions with the ball, rather than be a scorer in isolation...

Few elite players have more than one or two flaws...

🤣 just no. As great a scorer he is, there are guys who could scale it higher, and recently I talked about the contrasts in defensive responsibilities and abilities between he and LeBron. He's up there, but he's not a greater two-way player than Bron...

Kawhi was great in Game 2, but where was all this energy when he wasn’t so great in Game 1?

I don’t know why there needs to be this overreaction after one game when before last night, he technically hadn’t put up a great performance in the playoffs since 2023 (when he only lasted two games).

We can acknowledge it’s good to have him back healthy without being extra with it.

Well, I was specifically talking about last night. When you shoot 15-19, make every contested shot, are clutch through the whole game, make key deflections, against the MVP in the playoffs, that makes you the best player in the league to me for that one game. Jokic is better because he's more consistent, but if Kawhi was on the level he was last night throughout the whole season, he wins MVP.

Nah kawhi is great when he's on, but the reaction is little too extra. Like best player in the league or top_ all time is crazy considering the games he misses, shyt we don't know how this run will end (knocks on wood).

Kawhi has had a weird career

The injuries he's had the games missed but it's also the pure dominance and efficiency along with his ability to defend that causes people to flip out like this :russ:

His efficiency is just ridiculous when I watch him it feels like he never misses
