Now this is a good debate/matchup, both groups bands didnt quite hit their stride until a bit later in their respective catalogs. I might have to go with Cameo due to them being a bit more versatile on the instrumentation tip. Gap Band had the equalizer in Charlie Wilson though, but again so was Larry Blackmon just off of bass work alone
