i been a fan of the alien movies since i was a kid...id break it down like this:

alien - more of a horror movie
aliens - more of an action movie
alien 3 - acceptable movie, enough to be included in the series
alien resurrection - weak as fukk, didnt like How they did Ripley making her part alien...FOH...

and them alien vs predator jawns should have never been made. both of them movies offended me as a predator stan.

that prometheus jawn looks kinda weak too, like the same concepts replayed again

Alien 3 was trash cuz the CGI alien just looked horrible. Other than that it could have been great. Alien Resurrection just pisses me off and is basically the Godfather 3 of the series. If those idiot writers had half a brain they should have kept Newt alive and she could have been the new Ripley.

I gotta cop the Anthology tomorrow... Alien is my personal favorite, with Aliens not far behind... Ressurection was aight IMO, still enjoyable.

I just watched Aliens last night, saw Alien a few weeks back.

Alien was better, Aliens seemed to be more on fan fair than substance. Both movies look amazing on Blu-Ray also. I'm a peep 3 and Resurrection before I checkout Prometheus in theaters.

i wish had i more hands, so i can give this post, 4 thumbs UPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

T2 is not only the GOAT sequel/cameron movie, but since i was 12 (29 now) it has remained my personal-ALL-TIME favorite movie period!!!! i tell ppl i share movie-knowledge with, T2 to me is the Godfather of the action/sci-fi genre. Nobody can hate on Godfather 1 or 2, and many ppl feel either is the GOAT, you get it 50/50 with various opinions. Same with T1/T2 (you can maybe say the same for Alien/Aliens as well i suppose).

ALiens is my choice for this discussion, But T2 was just a JUGGERNAUNT!!! only film i feel, maybe outside of Matrix 1, that special effects wise you can watch today in 2012 and feel lik that movie came out recently in the last few years. The visuals were flat out AHEAD OF ITS TIME. storytelling was epic and for an Arnold movie, that may been his best "acting", even if yes he was a robot. That last line to John Connor before he dies, "i know now why you cry, but its something i can never do".....gdamn gets me everytime

Anybody saying that the effects in Alien still holds up to this day is either lying or blind. That shyt looks horrible, the Xenomorphs in that one is clearly just a guy in a suit.
