they dont respect us

bruh couldnt even spend the entire afghan budget to fix america’s issues he had a trillion plus still left over and only used like 3-4 issues that need to be addressed.

the railway one imo would be dope but isnt a real necessity health care and homelessness is whats top priority.

homelessness could be fixed with a one time investment of 20 billion dollars? :dahell:

when we gone stop being p*ssy?

It doesn't help that half of the US population are essentially billionaire bootlickers who've been socially programmed to believe "government doing stuff for the people" is communism.

We had a candidate whose platform was on free healthcare, free college, a clean environment etc and Americans failed to vote for him. There are simply too many Americans who are either centrist or insanely far to the right.

Conditions have to get bad enough that people will become fed up and demand change. I think we're pretty close but things can also swing in the wrong direction. There is a very real possibility that any American uprising can lead to right wing populism or fascism (Trump & MAGA). Many White Americans are beginning to get fed up but are also at the same time very racist and right wing. They're convinced that the solutions to their problems lie in figures like Trump and Tom Cotton. The idea of a multicultural and mulitracial left leaning government is everything they've been conditioned to oppose.

I agree. Hundreds of thousands are homeless, millions are mired in medical and student loan debt, housing costs are increasing, millions have to work 2 jobs just to afford day to day living expenses, the evironment is going to shyt and is about to get drastically worse, COVID is still running rampant, Opioid addictions are increasing, infrastructure is crumbling, billionaires are getting richer, etc etc.

You'd think all of this would lead to civil disobedience but for the most part Americans remain docile. It seems conditions have to get even worse then they are now. Also the pain has to be equally distributed amongst the American population in order for people to wake up.

But again there is a large segment of the population who believe their solutions lie in figures like Trump and right wing populism. Instead of social reform they instead scapegoat immigrants and left leaning ideologies. This is one of the greatest impediments America has from progressing.
