I got the following message in my email just now. I have no idea why they decided to say this last minute instead of prewarning. It was moving along so swiftly and I honestly was not even thinking about a deadline because i figured it would get to the 100 K signatures without problems whenver it was due.
And Now i get this email telling me they have until this evening
We're over 78,000 signatures on our petition "Tell Congress: Don't Let Food Workers Go Hungry"! Thank you for signing! Can you help us get to 100,000 by Tuesday 2/12 evening? We'll deliver the petitions to Congress on 2/13! Please ask all your friends and family to sign!
And if you are in the D.C. area, please join us this Wednesday 2/13 for a National Day of Action to Raise U.S. Tipped and Full Minimum Wage on 2/13, starting at 10:45am, at Upper Senate Park, 200 New Jersey Ave. N.W.

lets help em out brehs!!!! Its moving fast as hell but they need to 100 K by this evening. Minimum wage is no joke
and please I beg you can we have know Mr Buzzkill or Sherlock come in here talkign about even if minimum wage increases for low wage workers, it creates a problem for middle wage workers and raises?
