They also made sure to show the film to black focus groups before releasing it, and they all agreed that they liked how the movie exposed blackface. What's really fukked up about the Jenna & Tracy blackface episode, is that it was Tina literally trying to make a case that white women have it harder than black men.

In her book I also remember her pushing back on the jlo and Kardashians hype saying something to the effect of I'm happy my kids will have my thin lips, my mothers eyes, and I'm glad my kids can spot me by my hips.
